Performance Coaching
Performance coaching built on human factors
Coaching for people who want to improve focus, energy, decision-making and execution - in sport, work, and life.
What this coaching is - and what it isn’t
Performance coaching applies the same principles used in endurance sport; consistency, adaptation, and decision-making under pressure, to a broader performance context.
This is for you if:
-
Your performance goals extend beyond running alone
-
You’re navigating pressure, fatigue, or competing demands
-
You want to understand how you perform, not just what to do
This may not be for you if:
-
Your sole goal is improving running performance
-
You’re looking for a traditional training plan
-
You want quick fixes or motivation-only coaching
If your primary goal is running performance, running coaching may be the better fit.
Areas we work on
-
Decision-making under fatigue and pressure
-
Managing energy, stress, and competing priorities
-
Building sustainable routines and systems
-
Improving execution when conditions aren’t ideal
-
Translating insight into consistent action
Why human factors matter
Most performance challenges aren’t caused by a lack of knowledge or motivation. They’re caused by how humans behave under real-world conditions - time pressure, fatigue, distraction, and stress.
My background in human factors informs how I coach: focusing on systems, decisions, and adaptability rather than willpower alone.
-
Performance viewed as a system, not a trait
-
Coaching that accounts for real constraints
-
Emphasis on execution, not just intention
